The heat has to be real.
Thermal is not neutral. It is built on a stance: honesty over hype, presence over performance. Here is the whole of it, in plain words, held to the same test as everything the engine writes.

This is the move the whole tool is built on. The copy that would fit any artist gets cut. What survives is the sentence that could only be yours.

Every phrase on top is free, so everyone uses it, so it carries nothing. The line at the bottom cost something to be true. That is the only kind Thermal keeps.

Five lines. If any of them could be stripped by the engine, it would not be here.
The industry runs on hype.
Every release arrives in the same wrapping. Genre-bending. Boundary-pushing. The next big thing. The words are free, so everyone reaches for them, so they carry nothing. The people who decide, the curators, the writers, the bookers, read a hundred a day. They stopped hearing the adjectives years ago. To them, hype is not a signal. It is static.
Presence over performance.
A performance tells the reader how to feel. Presence tells them what is there. We take presence every time. The converted trailer, the broken Wurlitzer, the debut cut to tape, the doors left open to the night. A detail does the work an adjective only promises. We would rather show the room than swear it was magic.
The strip is the proof, not the cut.
Thermal removes the lines that would fit any artist. That is not the tool being harsh. It is the point. Whatever survives the strip is what is true of you alone. A sentence that fits everyone describes no one. Cutting it is how the line that fits only you gets found.
A thin read is a true read.
Some artists do not have much heat yet. A first single, a small catalog, a sound still arriving. Thermal says so, plainly. It will not swell a thin reading into a loud one, because a number you cannot stand behind is worse than a small one you can. A true, thin read shows you where to build. A flattering, false one shows you nothing.
We run it on ourselves first.
Martori built Thermal, and Thermal read Martori before it read anyone else. This page is held to the same test. Every line was run through the engine, and the ones that could be stripped were stripped. If we would not send it, we do not ship it.
