How to find the BPM of a song.
Count it with your hand, or let the file speak. The two answers should be close. When they are not, the tap is usually the pulse you meant.
Three steps
Tap, read, then check the octave.
Tap along for at least eight beats. Thermal's tap counter uses the median gap so one late hit does not own the number.
If you have the file, drop it on the BPM and key finder. Decode and measurement stay in the browser. That is why airplane mode still works after the page has loaded. See the proof.
If the machine prints double or half of your tap, keep the number you can move to. The detector is built to fold into 70 to 180, which is exactly how those misses happen. The rest of the miss list.
